Noticed this option on a recent stay and was going to use it, but having got a late check out, the option was then greyed out after standard check out time and shows that I had already checked out.

believe it or not, that feature was still there in the majority of hotels i've stayed at the last few years, hilton and others. it's easy to forget with all the tech we have but sometimes lo-tech is good.
