Hi all,
As long as you are registered before the stay and use the co-brand, it counts towards the two stay minimum. There's no need to cancel existing reservations and rebook to count for this promotion. Let me know if that make sense/if you have other questions.

I just noticed something very odd...when I go to my HH account, under promotions, it is listed as the Amex promotion...However, and this is important...in the body of the offer it still mentions Visa, not Amex.
How can we be SURE using an Amex will get the points?

Just to make sure there would be something charged to the card, I used "points and money" on two of my coming award stays. Modifying my reservation to cut off 1000 points came to around $7 including taxes.
If 5000 Honors points are valued at $25, this made more sense to me than going out of my way to charge something to the room when I was not planning to charge things to the room anyway.

Confirming that as long you link your Hilton Honors American Express card when booking a reward stay, you will still be eligible to receive the Bonus Points after two stays.

I still do not quite understand. Are you saying that it is NOT necessary to actually have an incidental charge on an award stay? And that it is sufficient to have an Amex card on your profile when making the reservation? Or is it that you must present an Amex card when checking in? Or either? Or both?
