Thank you. I, and probably others, had been waiting to see before making new bookings. Does Hilton management even realize this: when you send out an e'mail like this, people stop making bookings for a few days while waiting for the sale to appear.

Not really your problem, is it? Booked three stays yesterday, shortly after russh1 mentioned the rates were loaded. Otherwise I would have booked zero stays with Hilton, because I still have to spend some expiring reward certificates/nights with other brands.

Start of a new quarter/period. Target/bonus is made for the quarter/period ending so let's slow it down a bit and go for the Big Bang at the new period.
