Any ideas if this Hilton will start giving breakfast to Golds? That`s the only reason I am considering other properties.

Not sure if they upgrade gold's to exec rooms or not here, but if a gold gets an exec room they will have lounge access which has breakfast.

If you aren't in an exec room, they should give an option for at least some form of continental breakfast.

Gold members are entitled to Continental breakfast at all Hiltons, if you set your My Way preferences for that option.

Does that apply for award stays?

Yes as long as you have your "my way" set for breakfast and not the extra points

Thank you! Now I have to figure out where to find that option, as I only see two options in preferences- points+points and points+miles.

You should see your "My Way" preferences for each brand.
You should see selections like

They ask at check in if your prefer breakfast or points in case you might have not updated your my way preferences.

You will get full buffet breakfast in the breakfast room 1st floor next to the executive lounge (or lounge breakfast dep. on your room) award stays incl.

My Way Options

Dear Guests,

Indeed, Gold Members are able to choose into their "My Way Options" if they prefer to enjoy breakfast, or if they prefer to get bonus points.

To do so, you just have to connect to your Hhonors account and select the option accordingly. Otherwise, you can also choose between this two options upon check-in.

Always happy to help, I wish you all a great week end !

Can any diamonds that have stayed here recently verify that you still get a choice of breakfast in the lounge or the hot breakfast in the restaurant or are you forced to eat in the lounge? Also wondering what time they start serving breakfast on weekends

At my last stay (March) I was certainly offered the choice.
