I'm not sure I'd bother with the Bentley myself. Tower Bridge, Waldorf, Trafalgar, and Park Lane are all great hotels.

We are you seeing Cat 8? The linked page shows Category 7 right on the front page...

It was updated/corrected in the past 48 hours.

This conpiracy to conceal the evidence proves conclusively that they're plotting a devaluation!

If HH is planning another devaluation with higher reward categories, this only solidifies my stance of leaving after the diamond devaluation.

The Category 8 designation on The Bentley London was a typo, which has been corrected. We have no plans at this time to create a Category 8.

Thanks for monitoring and the update.

Then you should probably also fix the award chart on the Bentley website -- http://www.thebentley-hotel.com/hilton-hhonors.php -- which lists redemptions at 60K/low and 80K/high. (That doesn't correspond either to cat 7 or to the W-A rate formerly applicable to the Bentley.)

I just checked. The Bentley is now a category 7 (SEVEN) hotel and you can book rooms for 50,000 points.

Thank goodness, the fiasco on the Delta side right now is already driving me mad.

Ridiculous. Hilton and Delta should team up.

Well both programs have already sold out to Am Ex.

HHonors has undergone and continues a massive devaluation with some resorts designating and offering only "premium rewards" at values far higher than the designation.

Conrad Bali, a category 5 hotel is charging 88000 points for a "PREMIUM ROOM REWARD".

Obviously, the reward chart doesn't mean anything when a property can charge nearly 3x times the published reward rate. The same room can be bought for usd $265.

Actually, it appears they have done the same as Bora Bora and Moorea. That is they are limiting award rooms to only the "Twin" rooms and considering the same room that has a King bed as a premium room.

How many people want to go to a resort and have twin beds?
