where is the "chat" button?
I know I've seen it many times before and now that I want to use it, I can't find it. Where do I go to find this option once I log into my hhonors account? Am I just overlooking it? I think it used to be on the left hand side somewhere?

If you have it (not all people do), it's immediately to the right of the "Sign Out" button underneath the qualifying stays/nights/points and last hotel information.

I thought that only select Gold and Diamond members had it, I thought it was in BETA testing or something. Although I am going from memory and I seem to recall reading something along those lines at least 6-12 months ago.

What is cHHat?
cHHat is a NEW option available to select Diamond VIP members. It enables the member to contact an HHonors Customer Service Agent with any questions they may have while browsing their account online and receive an answer right away. cHHat works like an instant message session so it is very convenient and easy to use. |
FYI--I sent a quick note asking customer service where the "chat" button was, and they said that the chat button program has been done away with. I guess it was in the testing stages and didn't get good reviews. Hmmm

But hitting it calls up a screen with an error on it. Too bad! I loved that function! |

Edited to add that I just clicked on it as well and it didn't come up - but hopefully that means its just not staffed right now (that has happened to me before). I did use it last week! |
I just checked my HH page, and now I have a "push to talk" function, and not the push to chat function. What the heck?

Interesting. Mine still says "cHHat Now" although it brings up the "Live Assistance Not Available" when I click the icon. :confused:

It is there and working fine for me as of this posting. In fact when I used it two weeks ago, I was informed at the end of the chat that I was the "Chat Member of the Day" and will be credited 2500 points on completion of my next stay. ^ ^ ^
