Perhaps a PM to HiltonHonorsRepresentative is in order

Just a thought...

miles too

In my experience, not only do I get points (and bonus points if any) for incidentals on award stays, if I set my double-dip preference to variable miles I also get one airline mile per dollar for incidentials. E.g., just scored a whopping 9 miles for incidentials on an award stay last week.
HHonors points were 92 base + 92 double base bonus + 23 Gold VIP bonus. MyWay was breakfast, so that was it.

I've always gotten points for my incidental spending.

There are some exceptions to what is eligible. I billed parking to my room on 1 stay (paid) but did not get points for it. I was told that the parking was owned by a 3rd party so charges not eligible for points. Any 3rd party-owned business, even if billed to the room, apparently is not supposed to get points.

The only exception was w/the FN601. Many ppl, incl me, also did not get stay/night credit w/this cert.

I had an award stay at the Singapore Conrad a couple of weeks ago and received points for internet access which was the only charge I had for the stay.

thanks

Thanks to this thread I sent an email to Hhonors & got 4,072 points for a $60.00 incidental charge that was during an rewards stay. Actually the special free night diamond certificate for the devaluation.

The points were double because of the Q2 promo & points / points diamond bonus, plus 2500 for Amex Surpass. Not bad just to send a quick email.

i'm not quite sure you get points for spends at the spa, but definitely for food....

this is completely untrue....i recently had a reward stay at a conrad property for which i have received a total of over 20k points (including points for the q2 promo, online booking, amex surpass points, etc)....

i have been burning my hilton points all year now....have not had a single paid stay this year & have spent over 25 reward nights at hilton properties....always got points for incidentals....

send a pm to hhonorsrepresentative....she should be able to help you out....

Time to chime in, I've always always gotten points for incidentals on award stays, it's listed in the T&C and have only had problems twice with points not posting. Simple call to DD and it was fixed on the spot.

Just got back from HWV a couple of weeks ago. Stayed on points. The total bill came to $34 for some incidentals. Not only did I get the 340 base points but also received all the promotion / diamond points including the AMEX online booking bonus.

So at the Conrad you should have gotten them.
Spot on. The employees at these hotels who are not awarding points for incidentals need to be retrained.

I often get them for food and parking. Parking sometimes may not post, but that is if it is another vendor and it would not matter if it was a reward stay or not.

Points for incidentals on a Priceline stay?

Do I get these? HHonors gold, if that matters. In fact, what about elite benefits in general (breakfast, etc.) at Hilton properties on a Priceline stay?

no Elite benis when bidding on Priceline or elsewhere. Sometimes if you manage to somehow get your HH # in the reservation you might get them, but you are not entitled to it.

I got points for incidentals for a free night award stay at Doubletree Hotel New York City - Chelsea last week. Used one of my free night 2Q 2010 promo certificates (room rate was $500/night).

My experience has been that I've always gotten points for incidentals for award stays.

More often than not, I am lucky enough to receive both benefits and points for incidentals with Priceline stays. Just show your card when checking in!
