Looks like they also replaced (K) Volvo S90 with the Jaguar XF and finally replaced the Prius with the Fusion as the hybrid example.

First time user here. For those who booked a H4 car, what have you got in the end.

And if I book a T4 at LAX, what are the chances of getting a Velar or Discovery? Cheers.

I have a reservation in St. Louis for a Z4 - Rover Discovery/QX60. It will be interesting to see what I actually get.

QX60 not worth it IMO. Glorified Pathfinder.

I figured that would be the case. I have low expectations because I just want a larger SUV and the price for the Z4 car class was just a couple dollars more than the lower class SUV, so I’ll give it a try.

Updated! Where'd you spot the Pilot? Surprised to see those since Honda barely makes enough to satisfy retail demand. I'm assuming they're all base-model LX trim?

I had actually spotted them multiple times at LAX/LAS/PHX. Just that everytime I had spotted them at PC aisle there had always been better options so I never rented one. I had spotted them in LX/EX/EX-L trims. Actually most of them are in EX-L trims according to one of the employees that I talked to at Las Vegas.

And most recently I spotted a 2018 crv in base Lx trim in Las Vegas, tagged F4.

Are they corporate-owned or franchise-owned?

The vast majority of Hertz US locations are corporate-owned. It's highly unlikely that such Hondas came one-way from a small rural franchise outpost somewhere.

I’m sure they’re corporate owned if they can be places in PC aisle.
I’ve also spotted current generation fit, civic and accord at multiple location. But it seems to be that Honda’s are always saved for PC memeber or in some cases even platinum member.

None recently. They are still pretty uncommon. We have seen a ton more Jeeps in Hertz's fleet this year though.

Hertz has always had a very small contingent of Hondas, although historically they've been mostly Civics since at the corporate level, Hertz has to pay full price. My local Honda dealership told me that they're much more common over at Avis, because some large dealerships are willing to cut deals with franchise owners.

Recently while at work I noticed some Honda's being taken to the hertz @ SEA. Later that week i happened to roam over their lot and spotted about 8 Honda's total on their lots. When I talked with some friends at Hertz I was told that buying Honda's are part of their new pledge to diversify their fleet with the overall goal of making it damn near impossible to have the same car options every time you rent. I seems to be true across the U.S, last time I was in Florida I grabbed a 2018 Accord with 15 miles on the clock from PC @ Tampa airport. Also, it explains why Hertz went from base model cars to mid-high trim levels especially on GM's, Nissan and Jeeps.
