Anyone knows if Chrysler Pacifica will be part of Hertz Fleet soon?

Did Hertz finally strike a purchase deal with GM? I've been seeing a TON of 2017 Chevy Cruzes, both LT and Platinum package, as well as Yukons/Suburbans lately.
Also, as a side note, spotted a rare 2016 Honda Accord today at LEX - Ohio plates. Avis/Budget in this area has boatloads of them, but I thought they were long gone from the Hertz fleet.

Booked a 5 Passenger SUV (Group L) SFAR in Moncton, NB, Canada last weekend. Got a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Was a bit surprised at first, since I though the Cherokee is normally tagged Q4. But I guess they consider the Trailhawk trim to be enough of an upgrade…
It was a tight squeeze to fit 2 bicycles in the hold, with the back seat lowered. This put aside, the car was nice enough to drive, and the glass roof was appreciated.
In hindsight though, I should have probably been better off asking for the GMC Terrain I saw on the lot on my way out as it seems to have a larger cargo hold.

Guys, I've rented a Q4, but I'm from Argentina and most of those SUV models are unknown to me.
In the event that you would have to pick between those available options, what would you recommend?
Thanks in advance!

I booked back in Dec 2016 for July 2017 using my Amex Plat Hertz discount code, which includes an upgrade, if available. My emails have the following:
YOUR VEHICLE
5 Passenger Standard SUV Group L SFAR
(L) Toyota 4Runner or similar
But my online rez shows:
YOUR CAR
5 Passenger Standard SUV (Group L) SFAR
(L) Hyundai Santa Fe Sport or similar
In the fleet list above, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is showing as a F4, SWAR. Can anyone explain what happened or, more importantly, what the difference is and if I should contact them? Also what would the upgrade category be? We are a family of 5 with 2 big teen boys, so the bigger, the better for us.

However, the T&C states "Maximum upgrade is to a full sized class vehicle with a minimum reserved compact vehicle."
So if booking L class, you would not be eligible for an upgrade. The description of the class changes from time to time, depending on which vehicle Hertz chooses to represent the class. Your reservation class hasn't changed, it's just that Hertz decided to now have the Santa Fe representing the class.

JAX T/FFAR class
First time post, but long time lurker.
Going to JAX next May and am interested in the T/FFAR class. I am a Hertz Gold Plus member. I want a Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, or Ford Expedition. Not a Toyota Sequoyah or Nissan Armada. They are not wide enough to be comfortable with a baby in carseat and two adults in the backseat for any amount of time.
Has anyone been to JAX and know what their T/FFAR category actually has in stock?

Minivan (R, VAR) or 4WD extra capacity SUV (T6 PFAR)
I have previous in the thread asked about Minivan (R, VAR) for my upcoming rental @FLL, the reply I got was that I could expect a KIA Sedona, @FLL, are the Sedonas the 7 or 8 seater version?
Also, previous I asked abut getting a truck (S, SPAR) but I figured out seating room would be an issue and also 6 seats where not a guarantee, I could end up with a 5 seater.
We are 4 adults and two children, the youngest will sit on a booster seat. We have 4 large suitcases roughly 29,5 by 12 inches each, two duffelbags 27 by 15 inches each + carry on's, probably backpacks.
After Googling and Youtubing, I'm serious considering changing to a 4WD extra capacity SUV (T6 PFAR) instead so we don't end up with an unpleasant suprise once we arrive @FLL and start to load up the minivan. As a reference I drive a Volvo XC70 @home, in the cargo hold I'll fit two suitcases and two duffelbags with out folding any seats.
Unfortunately, the Sedona is not available by KIA here in Sweden, so I can't go to the dealer and take a test drive/test load.
Any feedback appropriated!

I played safe and booked a Suburban at AVIS instead, "only" around $100 more than the Sedona from HERTZ, HERTZ wanted almost $200 more for the Suburban.

It should be noted that the Suburban will almost certainly be nicer inside than the Sedona. The large SUVs at rental fleets tend to be mid-level trims with leather and navigation, whereas the minivans tend to be more basic.

Looking at LAX for a JTAR, I'm told it'll be a Mercedes SLC/SLK Convertible or similar. To quote exctly:
Also, somehow, this is a few bucks cheaper than the convertible class, which is apparently a camaro convertible or similar.
1/ I don't see any other JTAR cars listed on the wiki. Am I correct thinking that the only car I can expect is a SLK250 Convertible?
2/ Is it possible that they don't have this car available for me on pick up even if I reserve it now?
3/ Why is the SLC/SLK cheaper than a camaro convertible? Isn't the mercedes a much "better" car? Is it older?

It is a strict 2 seater, and it is a choice of luggage or roof down, but not both at the same time. I had the previous SLK250 and thought it was a nice car let down by a very unrefined engine. The SLC300 may be a bit better but that engine in the C Saloon is also its weak point.
The only other open top cars that Hertz have are Camaro and Mustang Convertibles and the Corvette. Usually the first two of these would be cheaper than the Merc (well, the V6/4 cyl Turbo ones, not the SS), but if they have no demand for the Merc and more demand for the others, you could see the Merc being the better deal.
