BUMP thread.
Going to HNL, have my brother's 09-10 book in hand. Looking for advice on coupons to be sure to use. Have used the Hawaii book in the past and found it a great money saver!

Anyone know if the 2010 version of this book is good for 2009 as well? Might do a quick order before we leave later on this month. A previous poster referenced 2009-2010 so I was not sure.
If anyone has one that they would part with please advise via PM. Thx

If you can use a 2nd card, you can either buy your local edition or buy a 2nd card for $15. The card is generic and not specific to a city/state edition. The numbers seldom overlap on locations you really wish to visit. Enjoy Hawaii, Aloha!

Waikiki Marriott offers a significant savings off room rates with the Ent Card. Search the Marriott Reservation website and use the code 'NPR' for rate info. We're going in July 2010 and the Marriott had Premium Ocean View Rooms for $205 + tax or a Premium POV for $185 + tax. It was about a 40% savings on regular room rates I found there w/o the card.

Go to www.entertainment.com and pick the Hawaii Book. It will list all the Fine Dining places. Hint: they are all on Oahu. Sucks, doesn't it? The book has really gone downhill, IMO, the last couple years. My local one sucks too.
Agreed about the "local one sucks, too" comment.

I've got a Calgary Entertainment book.. can I get coupons online for Hawaii, or do I have to buy one of those books?..
Sounds like from the comments, its really not worth purchasing the book for Maui or Big Island.

I'll buy the 2011 Hawaii book for our January trip because we'll be on Oahu before going to Maui. There are a number of good restaurant & activity discount coupons for Oahu. Almost zero for the other 3 islands.
