HA confirmation code from AA award booking?
When booking HA award with AA, they provide AA confirmation code (six alphabets) and AA ticket #. After I asked, they also provided a separate HA confirmation code (six alphabets). (AA stated they don't have an HA ticket #, only AA ticket #.)
With all the above info, I cannot look up the ticket on hawaiianair.com. If I call HA, they can find the reservation. However, I specifically want to access the reservation and check-in online.
Checkmytrip.com also doesn't return any info using above confirmation codes.
Is it possible to find the reservation on HA.com and check in online?

That's odd. I've booking HA reservations using UA miles on several occasions before and was able to pull the reservations on HA.com. I was unable to select seats, but I could view my reservation and later check-in online.
Perhaps the last name is entered differently in the AA reservation? Did you try entering in different combinations of it?

As of a few months ago, an AA award reservation including segments on HA could be pulled up online with the HA locator, but no seats assigned, nor online checkin. I qualify that by noting it was an international itin so maybe HA prohibited online checkin to get passport info.

It looks like CheckMyTrip is and Amadaeus site; both American and Hawaiian run on SABRE. Thy SABRE's VirtuallyThere.com instead.
I'm not sure if being able to view the reservation on Hawaiian's web site would be much use to you. I have a reservation on HA booked through Panda Travel, and while I can see the reservation online, I can't do anything with it, not even select seats (its a west coast trip; called Panda and they couldn't get me seat assignments either). There's a message at the top of the page showing my itinerary that the reservation can't be modified online because it wasn't booked with Hawaiian.
I don't have a lot of experience with OLCI since I like my real, airport issued boarding passes to keep in a scrapbook, but I suspect you should be able to check in with the HA confirmation number once the 24 hour check in window opens.
As far as the ticket number goes, you'll only have the AA (001) ticket number since they issued the ticket. The only time you'd have multiple ticket numbers is if a travel agency splits a reservation to ticket different segments on different carriers. But they don't always even do that; I once booked a mixed United/Alaska itinerary through Expedia, and all 5 segments (4 UA, 1 AS) were ticketed with a United (016) ticket number. No problems there.

I must be lucky. Even with a flight # and time change, my ressie still pulled up on HA.com booked through UA. Bummer if it's not consistent.

Entering the HA confirmation code turns up the reservations on VirtuallyThere. However, trying to view the eTicket receipt results in a blank page. At least I know the reservations are fully confirmed.
Most likely won't be able to check in online at 24 hours. I am arriving in HNL Overseas terminal in the morning, via JAL. If there is an HA check-in area nearby, do you think I can get tickets for my flight to KOA same evening?
HA website says check-in begins 4 hours before departure, but I'm not checking in bags.
