Easter in Munich

I'm very familiar with Munich and the surroundings. But I've never been for Easter. Due to a cheap fare, I'll be there Saturday and 1/2 of Sunday. While I'm a religious guy and appriciate the beautiful churches in Munich, I'm not Catholic. Any suggestions on a good one to attend Easter morning?
My german is nominal at best, but am just looking for a good experience.

If you are looking for an English-speaking church:

A list/map of German-speaking Lutheran churches can be found here:

Or - you could attent a Catholic service. As a non-Catholic you are not supposed to take part in Communion, but you can still take part in the rest of the service, providing you feel comfortable with it (which you may or may not, depending on the style of worship you are used to)

Thanks for the info....I was actually looking to attend a catholic service in one of the amazing cathedrals. Of course, as a non-catholic I would respect their practices when it comes to communion. I know it's a long shot, but do any of them offer a service in English?

Seriously, I would attend a service in German to get an impression of the local customs. There certainly might be a service somewhere in English, however, this will be a service based on "the smalled common denominator".

You would not go to a Munich English community sports bar when being there at Octoberfest time, would you? No offence meant against anybody and I do not compare a religious service with Oktoberfest. However, Easter service in Bavaria can be quite impressive and it is a part of local culture, history and customs (so is Oktoberfest).

Thanks for all the info. I understand your point about a sports bar during oktoberfest. My personal concern is my lack of German coupled with my lack of knowledge of Catholic services and traditions. I just don't want to be "that guy", who is totally lost and confused.
However, on your advise, I'll push on and attend. I assume dress is formal - suit or the like?
If anybody is going to be in town and also wants to attend with me or even sit down to a ma on Saturday. Post here or PM me.
