Seriously, I would attend a service in German to get an impression of the local customs. There certainly might be a service somewhere in English, however, this will be a service based on "the smalled common denominator".

You would not go to a Munich English community sports bar when being there at Octoberfest time, would you? No offence meant against anybody and I do not compare a religious service with Oktoberfest. However, Easter service in Bavaria can be quite impressive and it is a part of local culture, history and customs (so is Oktoberfest).
