Would be really grateful if someone could confirm their understanding as follows:-
- I don't need to complete the online digital registration for Germany, as only transit
- I tested positive a couple of weeks ago, but proof of immunity (positive PCR) is only valid 28 days afterwards in Germany, and therefore...
- I still need to take an ART or PCR prior to the flight to Germany, even though my final destination SIN doesn't require it?

thanks in advance!
You don't need to fill in a digital Covid registration (currently no-one does as this only applies to travel from high-risk/virus variant areas and no countries are designated as such). If you're fully vaccinated with an EU-approved vaccine there is no need to show proof of recovery or a test result. Obviously if you are still showing symptoms of infection you shouldn't travel and might not be allowed to board.

As you're not entering Germany you shouldn't need to show proof of vaccination to anyone there but personally I'd carry it just in case.

I just transited FRA a few days ago. Besides the airline asking me for my proof of vaccination at check-in, no one else on ground (either airline or immigration) at FRA asked for it. My final destination did not require a negative test so I didn't have one, nor was I ever asked.

I am travelling with my daughter YYZ --> FRA --> LHR (both fully vaccinated and boosted). My Canadian passport expires in late July; if I understand correctly this shouldn't be an issue because we are only transiting through FRA and won't have to clear passport control (both flights are on Lufthansa). Any insight would be appreciated as I do not want to be denied our boarding passes at Pearson on Monday..

That itinerary means no passport control at Frankfurt.

Transit

Hello,
.
We are traveling home to USA from Prague. Tested positive day before original departure date and now are planning on using letter of recovery to get home in case we still test positive.

The issue is that we transit through Frankfurt, which normally wouldn't be an issue since we are vaccinated but Germany's recovery rule is at least 28 days. We can prove we are vaccinated to enter Germany but to prove we can get in the US we will have to show a positive test <28 days.

Will this make it so we can't board?

Thanks

i also transitted through FRA just 14 days after testing positive. Similar to you, my final destination accepted recovery after 7 days.
flight was GVA-FRA-SIN.

In Geneva I showed my vaccination Cert to get to Germany. Then in Germany I showed my recovery Cert for Singapore.

No questions asked.
