Difficulties in finding a room for 4 adults in Munich

We're two poly couples travelling there in a few weeks time and would like to share a bed.

Are there any hotels out there in Munich with one LARGE bed that could accomodate 4 adults comfortably? Failing that, are there any hotels with two "king" beds in a single or extended room (suite, etc).

It seems to me that the likes of Starwood, Hilton, Marriott, and so on are not providing much luck in finding an appropriate accomodation

Anyone got experience here regarding a hotel that could fit the bill?

It seems like the few offers I've seen consider all situations as offers for two "adults" plus "children", and therefore the extra beds seem to be marked as doubles rather than a king bed, or worse.

Would anyone know of a hotel that I could perhaps call and inquire about having a "proper" deal that fits our bill? Or does anyone know of a hotel with a truly large bed, say +3 meters wide? We could fit in that...

Thanks

The Holiday Inn Munich (not the city center one) allows four adults per deluxe room and has two 1.4 meter (??) beds in this room. I guess you could push them together as well. Maybe call the hotel in advance. Not comfy king beds, but "feasible", imo. Worked fine for two adults and two teenagers that I booked in there. Con, it's not very centrally located and doesn't have good public transport options.

Do 3 meter beds exist?

That being said, I had to google poly couple... Enjoy your stay!

Westin Grand Arabellapark has a Suite with at least two King for roundabout 2000€ per day.

Also there is something at the Sheraton Arabellapark possible for a little less.

For both you have to phone!

btw: Never heard of a 3m bed in munich and I have to google too...

Thanks all

A little on the more expensive side for the latter entries, but good to know. Should have booked this some months back, but that's life.

I think I'll start calling a list of hotels and asking them if there's an opportunity to pull two doubles or a king and double/single together

Cheers!

I didn´t have to Google poly although (thanks to the late hour) polynesian first came to mind and then I came to my senses.

I think that the biggest problem you will be up against in many German hotels is how many people a hotel will permit in a room, period. This has nothing to do with paying for additional people - it´s just a question of hotel policy.

A question to the OP: how has this worked out for you elsewhere in terms of finding the right sized bed?

Various rates of success.

Ended up choosing a Marriott and got it all sorted out over the phone. They've got two double beds (1.4 meter wide) which they will move side by side (so nearly a 3 meter wide bed) in their Executive rooms. Price was surprisingly low so this is why I chose them.

Stayed at the Santiago Marriott once, they have MASSIVE beds. Easily fit 4 into a single bed

But YMMV...
