Caesars new Military push
They have always had a military friendly atmosphere, that is why i initially picked them over mLife. mLife stepped it up this year and offered nice perks for military and although i just got back from vegas a few weeks ago, staying in a Caesars property, I was considering a swap.

Caesars has basically taken the playbook from mLife and applied it. Permanent Platinum, cool new card and a few extra benefits.
I am not a gambler enough to probably ever make diamond, I get Plat typically thru CC spend, but now I won't have to deal with any of that and i get a few extra perks.
Thanks Caesars

I got the email on this and love it. I need to make a trip out to Harrah's SoCal in the next couple weeks anyway to finish off my Diamond run for next year but will also pick up one of these new cards as a back up. Hadn't seen the mLife perks but have been staying with CET properties since I got Founder's Club a little over a year ago.

Well, it seems you have to "renew" each year.
I dropped to gold status Feb 1 and no one seems to know why. Not that you can talk to a person, it all has to be done via email.
I am trying to book a trip to Atlantis and it seems I may have to visit a Caesars property, redo my Military application, then receive Plat, then make my Atlantis reservation.
Maybe mlife isn't that bad....

So, I got a return phone call from someone who basically explained everything
Initially Caesars was only going to have the program for 3 months - Nov 11 (veterans day) thru Jan 31
Sometime in Jan, they decided to extend the program thru the whole year, but they had no way to track those who had already signed up, so they let it expire and then renewed the program for another year

Today, after my letter to the CEO, i got another phone call from a corporate customer service person explaining more or less the same thing, but taking the blame for a poor implementation and the fact that it was supposed to go thru 2018 from the beginning, it was just never communicated correctly and now they have decided to run the program indefinitely and although my card will expire Jan 31, it will be more like the founders card, if my military credentials are on file and valid then i get auto upgraded every Feb 1.
