That one used to match your current level on another airline/hotel/cruise status to a similar Frontier status for a $50-150 application fee, and you could pay an additional $349-500 to get bumped to a higher level like Elite Diamond (100k).
https://www.frontierstatusmatch.com/ - they no longer offer that program, but they claim it's coming back.
But that one you had to have a status on another airline or credit card to match with. This current paid status match is just letting you buy in.

I did a status match from United Global Services to whatever the top tier at Frontier is for 2024. Despite all the trash talk, I found Frontier to be great for short flights. It’s incredibly affordable, and with my status, everything I usually get charged for is free including seat selection and carry-on luggage. It turned out to be a fantastic deal.
I'm hoping to do it again for 2025, and I'm keeping an eye on the status match site to see if it comes back around.

I think this is a new offer, doesn't require a match. Not sure i it's a good offer or if anyone will find it useful but posting just in case:

For a limited time, you can earn Platinum Elite Status through 2025 by accumulating just 20,000 Elite Status Points with the Frontier Airlines World Mastercard or by flying Frontier, now until April 30, 2025. Premium Elite Status requires 50,000 points without this offer.
FRONTIER Miles members can opt-in for this offer and start earning immediately.

So I currently have 8k status miles for this year. I am currently platinum status but didnt fly much this year. According to this, I can opt into the offer and I only need to earn 20k total points to get an additional year of Platinum status? So basically buy the annual pass (get 9600 points) and then whatever I need to get for the remaining?

I tried registering and get this error

I got the same thing. I initially thought it's because I'm already Platinum, but it's more likely just something broken in their IT.
** EDIT **
Not to mention, I flew almost every other weekend this year, with some long flights (MCO - DEN, MCO - DFW, etc.) and still only accumulated about 9k miles all year. Getting 20k between now and April is a BIG ask.

Yeah, it's clear the primary goal is to get people to drop some significant spend on the credit card.

I've only earned around 12k this year flying several times a month. I earned diamond elite last year between doing several mileage runs and having the credit card. Unfortunately this year they changed their miles system so it is significantly more difficult to hit status. Since I'm currently diamond elite I get a 20x per dollar multiplier so that means I would need to spend $5k on fares (excluding taxes) to maintain my status. With how cheap their flights are and especially considering elite diamond gets free carry-on/checked bags and premium seats that's nearly impossible for one person even if you are flying a lot. It would be more attainable if they included the dollars spent of everyone on your booking but you only get miles for the price of your individual ticket. With these changes and not having status matching available I bet they are looking at a 50-75% reduction in the number of people who will be at platinum and diamond levels next year before this promo.
I was going to buy the gowild annual pass for next year to hit platinum but it's still not available for some unknown reason.

I did the paid status match last year for $100 or whatever. Given how little I've used it, Frontier have made out like bandits. I'm surprised they haven't reached out to offer me to continue my Diamond status for $500 or something like that.
With this being your first post, welcome to FT

Diamond status on Frontier requires 100K points, right? If I spend $100K on the Frontier credit card, do I then get Diamond status? Are there any restrictions as to what spend counts? Is it only certain types of spend categories? Or does every dollar spent using the credit card count towards elite status?

Is that $20k offer posted somewhere, or is it targeted?
