But that one you had to have a status on another airline or credit card to match with. This current paid status match is just letting you buy in.
Like many of those who have posted on this Thread, I did a Frontier Status Match in late 2023 and parlayed United Gold Status and $99 and obtained Frontier Platinum status for 2024. I completed the Status Match through a marketing company called Loyalty Data Company via a Hotmail email solicitation. I am not, nor do I wish to become, a Frontier Credit Card Holder. Frontier became my number one go-to Domestic (USA) carrier this year (2024), however, I am not even close to re-qualifying for Platinum Status for 2025. I checked the
www.frontierstatusmatch.com website and as of today, this message appears "...
Frontier Status Match is revamping and will be coming back shortly...". This message has been there for at least the past 4 weeks. I have Gold Status on both UA and DL (mostly from international travel) but I find their domestic prices 2 to 3 times higher than that of Frontier. Sure hope Frontier will continue the Status Buy Up program similar to last year.
