Ever get any promotion?
Does anyone ever get promotions from Frontier? Such as earn elite quicker, free tickets(beside FF), Fly so many times in a certain time period and get something, etc.
Just curious if they do anything like that.

That's a weakness of this otherwise good program--no interesting promos or bonuses. Other than new route double miles bonuses, they really haven't offered much in the last few years. The upside is that you can use your miles pretty much any time you want.

If you are an elite member of another ff program, you can email your current statement showing your status and they'll upgrade you to Ascent level. Here is the email address: [email protected]. You can also fax them a statement, but you'll have to call for the fax number.

I also thought it has ended. I haven't flown Frontier for a while, but just planned a vacation with my family. I signed up the kids with their own accounts and a message popped up that said they would be eligible for Quick Ascent if they have elite status with another ff program. They do not have this, but I sent my NW Silver statement in (to the email above) and they upgraded me in a few days. I had my husband do the same with his elite statement and he was also upgraded. They do not advertise this, but simply tell new people enrolling in the program. This was just a couple of weeks ago, so it's still going on. There also does not seem to be an expiration of the upgraded account status, but I'm not sure.

The only promotions I get are the WWW and Fab 5, and I'm allegedly one of the top 500 flyers on F9...for what that's worth.
What more do you want? If you mention my name, they will give you a second bag of Sun Chips.
I just wanted free TV, because I'm cheap, so I did quick ascent. 15K miles for status and 25K for an award ticket is a pretty good deal on any airline. I think F9 is the best domestic coach product in the US. ^

I got an e-mail coupon from Frontier for $3.95/day parking or $4.95/day valet parking at PCA Airport Parking. Valid from 10/1-12/31/05. Not a bad deal. Too bad I'm not flying anywhere for the rest of the year.

With most other FF programs, most of the promos center on partners. Stay at this hotel and get bonus miles, do x dines in a certain period of time and get bonus miles. But (especially for people outside Colorado) hardly any of these partner opportunities exist. And thus the promo opportunities involving such partners don't exist either. (Promo opportunties involving car rentals do exist, I guess, but I'm not aware of them doing even much of that.)

There is a milage upgrade if you fly VA to England for Early Returns if you fly Business or First with them. 1.5 times milage flown but it's not really advantageous as VA doesn't fly to DEN. There are miles opportunities with Hertz or the Super Shuttle but a lack of miles earning outside of Colorado does hurt the program.
