So I just read Macron has signed into law his pension reforms, since the Constitutional Council rejected opposition calls for a referendum. And unions have called to a huge massive protest on may 1.
Is there any other strike or protest announced before may 1st?
And what about garbage collector strikes? Fuel delivery to airports, etc.?

Nothing before May 1st which in any case is the traditional day for trade union marches every year. Can't even have a strike that day because everything is closed already (except for public transportation, cinemas, restaurants...).

I arrived today. Didn't notice anything, my airbnb is near Republique, I arrived at 2pm. Afternoon I walked along the river from Cite to Trocadero. Everything fine.
Went back too the apartment at 9:30pm and felt the gas trying to get out from Republique station. I had to avoid the square and in the road to the apartment so lot of broken bottles, garbage buckets on the floor, police cars, etc.
But actually I ddin/t feel in danger. Probably earlier it was more violent.
Let.s see how it goes during the week.

You won't see anything unless it's one of those mobilisation days, except the garbage and some broken bus stops and burnt trash bins.... I don't think these protests are dangerous to tourists anyway, unless you walk right into one that is fighting against the police forces... It's mostly just nuisances for some transports and public services.
And after Macron's speech again this evening, unions are not happy and are calling for protests again on Thursday and again next Thursday, before a bigger one on May 1st (which happens anyway). Just need to plan accordingly.

(Yawn) Nobody in Paris is really interested by these non strikes where the metro and trains continue to run, garbage is picked up, and the museums are open. If you want to see a real strike, you need to go to England or Germany.
Just as an example of how ridiculous ConnexionFrance is, not a single trade union has issued a strike notice for June 6th yet. Only some political parties have done so. (Not forgetting that only 8% of the workers in France are in a trade union.)
