Strasbourg luxury hotel?

I'd like to splurge on a hotel in Strasbourg for one night, and the Regent Petite France and the Cour du Corbeau come up as possibilities. Anyone have experience with either hotel? Thanks.

Regent Petite France was very nice indeed, but I was there 4 years ago. No idea whether the place has been kept up-to-date since then.

I live close to Strasbourg, the Regent may be the place you're looking for.
if you don't mind a few additional km from Strasbourg:

I didn't know about the Cour de Corbeau. I'm in that area all the time. I should check it out!

There are quite a few nice places outside of Strasbourg. This is very close;

The Sofitel downtown is well-placed and generally thought of as the luxury place to stay;

I've stayed at only the Holiday Inn and Hilton here. I don't recommend either because they're just bland chains and only okay on the location.

Yes, I would agree that the Sofitel Strasbourgh Grande Ile would be a good choice.

We stayed at the Relais et Chateaux Le Chenaudiere a few years back. It was quite comfortable and the food in the restaurant was very good. Just be aware that in that area, there are lots of Colroy-la- whatevers. We must have passed about 5 or 6 and never saw a sign indicating Colroy-la-Roche. A kind person going into the store helped us out, but it was a bit hard to find. A good Michelin map would be a good thing to take along.

Or GPS! Use the street address instead of the hotel name.

Too true. The names around here sound all the same and many are very similar.

I'm not too phased by it, since I'm from California lol! (San this, Santa that...)
