In the thread on SAS and Star/SkyTeam GUWonder noted that:
What happened? Did they shut the status match program before the end of October 2nd?

Gold data point:
needed a room in Helsinki and booked Klaus K foe 25.000pts, available were standard and superior for the same price.
Was upgraded to a Sky Loft room on high floor, corner facing Mansku/Erottaja corner with view go Kallio and Dome. Nice. A bit soulless though but good value for points IMO. Never been in the hotel before.

IKEA gives me a headache and so do Comfort hotels in Scandinavia that remind me of IKEA. Fortunately, there is no Comfort hotel in Helsinki, but good to know what to avoid in their portfolio in Helsinki.

I just noticed this promo - treat your friend to a free breakfast on Monday. Basically a 2-4-1 offer, needs to be booked in advance, can be canceled until 8am. You pay the hotel’s brekkie price, 1 friend eats for free. No need to stay at the hotel.
IMO clever, Monday mornings are probably slow
until 31 Dec
