Seat map below is for a LH flight in 2 days. Row 5 was blocked yesterday. Any idea why they would block the seats?

WiFi on OH-LWE wasn't available on yesterday's AY20. Looks like the plane is headed to SIN tonight.

Flew BKK-HEL (day flight) with the new config - didn't find it comfortable (wife loved it)
Probably is fine if you just want to sleep but for sitting watching films, i'd prefer a normal Z config business class seat.
Will definitely avoid (for day flights) in the future.

I did HEL-HND in old config, and HND-HEL in new seats. Earlier also SIN-HEL in new seats
The new seats wins 100-0. Don't know how you can find it uncomfortable to sit, maybe too comfy that will make you fall asleep.
The old seat is feeling cramped and ugly when you are getting used to the new one. I love the space in the new seat, you can sit however you want and lay down in any position, even change side when laying down (the mattress might not stay in place).
I find it as a relief getting rid of the buttons, no need to push those up and down anymore trying to find the ultimate position.
My guess is we will see other carriers following AY on this concept, there are obvious advantages getting rid of the electronic chairs. But first of all these chairs are really comfortable.
The only down side I can spot is the disadvantage for elderly and passengers with serious mobility issues, those who actually can't move thier bodies by themself. Other than that I can't think of anything negative.

Yeah, to make the sitting more comfortable (IE not sliding down) the front-end of the seat bottom should go up a 2-3 cm, and that is something they oversaw with this new seat.

To avoid sliding down, you need to keep some body tension and this wears out the body, making the sitting uncomfortable.

Seen several reports recently of people flying new J and both the larger and smaller pillows being provided.

Flying there next week (and back a week later) and I can see that it has been operated by -LTN for the last week, so no new cabin for me

Got the A359 to LHR on the return (only A320 outbound), so maybe I get to experience it there...

Yes, i just came back from DFW. One small and one slightly larger pillow was provided. No memoryfoam.
The larger pillow is not actually alot larger, i had to ask few extras (which they dont have close by as it took almost an hour to find me one).

Also the seats are starting to wear out. The 2 moving parts that make the bed wasnt really level (and had slight "movement", and made my hips hurt alot during sleep.
(also enjoyed 2 Qsuites flights last week, talk about difference...)

Same pillow situation on hel-bkk recently.

Seat was perfect but take off at 2 pm, landing 5 am is not ideal for sleeping.
