e-rewards alternatives?
For years I've used e-rewards to stave off expiring accounts. In my spare time, I'd do some random surveys and accumulate points in their program, then when one of my FF programs was getting close to expiration, I could transfer 50 miles or something to it to reset the clock for another 18-24 months.
Recently I tried to do this, but they now have a "verification" process where you take a selfie, upload it and a copy of your drivers license. For some reason (they didn't say why), I failed the verification process, so they've now permanently disabled my account. I've asked how to appeal the decision and re-try the verification process (apparently you get ONE SHOT) but haven't gotten anything back and likely won't. So I guess it's time to find alternatives. What's everyone else use to top off various program accounts? It was nice in that it covered most of the airline and hotel programs.... but not sure I like the draconian verification process they've instated and won't provide any help with figuring out what went wrong in the process.... just disable an account that I've been using successfully for 15+ years.

From what I can discern, e-rewards is part of Dynata, which is the same company that runs the surveys for Miles for Opinions for American Airlines, and the Hilton Honors opinion rewards (I forget its name but I used to do that one too). Dynata is anything but dynamite; however, they own the survey points world, which is unfortunate. What is not unfortunate for you is that they will respond to a bit of pressure in the form of corporate "answer me, dangit!" as well as a BBB complaint. You do not want to know how I know this, but the short version is that they made an error this year that held up my Executive Platinum posting, and then said they couldn't change it. Amazingly, they could when I would not shut up. Funny how that works. Recent reviews seem to indicate you are not alone. https://www.trustpilot.com/review/e-rewards.com
My BBB complaint went to TX, automatically, I believe. Once you log into BBB, it knows exactly where you send you. Sometimes BBB works because the company--especially one that has so many corporate clients--hates negative reviews and comments.
Hope this is helpful:
