Agreed. The transgression IMO was taking someone else's list and posting it verbatim as original content. Choosing to share the data is hardly a massive failing.

There are plans to build bombs on the Googlenet too. But that doesn't mean people should advocate that others build and use them.

And no redirect.
That's some pretty awesome SEO!

Does the new URL mean that blog has been booted from Boarding Area?

Renes Points, I am still trying to learn to use a mouse as you suggest. Won't you help me:

My sources tell me Randy emailed BA bloggers a note informing them that The Forward Cabin is no longer part of the site.

I never succeeded in reading this blog since it wasn't worth my time -- ever.
The difference in quality between much of what I see on Boarding Area and, say, One Mile at a Time or View from the Wing or Wandering Aramean is actually shocking.
Here's an example of what I mean. This morning Points with a Crew published a long post about how renting a car from an off-airport discounter without "skip the line" privileges sucks.
You don't say? (Goodness, this pseudo-insight really just does kill me.)
And no humor, no flair, nothing. One Mile at a Time would've turned the episode -- complete with going to the wrong rental agency! -- into a quixotic misadventure full of pratfalls and self-deprecating humor. Sure, I still wouldn't have learned anything worthwhile or even new, but at least the story would've been decent.
