Looks like the organizers reserved the entire hotel? Are we expected to pay for the room (as opposed to using our IHG points)?

I'm not familiar with how much IHG points are worth, but given the negotiated rate isn't that expensive it's probably better to pay for the stay & earn points than use points on an inexpensive rate.

If you have an IHG credit card, be sure to use it to pay for your room at the HI. My weekend paid stay let me meet 3 requirements on the IHG Fall promotion

BTW yes on the ORD door but there are at least 3 ORD HI shuttles for HI hotels so make sure you get on the right one. @:-)

I have been a lurker for several months, and have just started with the miles/points games. I am very interested in the October seminar. Does it fill up quickly or is there always space available for late registration?
