I haven’t tried it but I hear it is full of paid poorly written fluff content.

TPG had hired Drew to create this earth shaking multifunctional app: https://thepointsguy.com/news/learn-...oduct-manager/

I lost track, but is Drew still with TPG?

AA sued them over it today so that's fun: https://www.law360.com/articles/1456538

The case is American Airlines Inc. et al. v. Red Ventures LLC, case number 4:22-cv-00044, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
It looks like they hit the same issues like Awardwallet had in their early days: collecting FFP login info and scraping other websites is not alllowed...

The trademark infringement stuff is additional, saying they used the AA logo to promote the app

Apparently BK sent out an email message to the subscriber list earlier today saying that TPG has field a suit against AA now. Claiming anti-consumerism.

IMHO he's trying to get his story out there and win favor in the court of public opinion by explaining his position first. I don't think he realizes how little sympathy people have for TPG.

Funny how the other titans have responded:

OMAAT: zilch, no comment
VFTW: fits right into the 'libertarian, we know better than AA' narrative, so a blog post was whipped up expressing support for Brian and TPG. Majority of the comments reveal that the general public is oblivious to the fact that Brian doesn't own TPG and is not in charge there either

In other news it looks like Pizzaman now writes only for TPG, his BArea blog went silent in December. 😥

Definitely interesting to see that Red Ventures has trotted out Brian, even though he has no management role at all
