That's fair. I do use click-bait/dramatic titling as a tool and not as a default, which I think is different from some others who are more known for it.

Many of my posts are light-hearted and fun so I don't really worry too much about baiting for pageviews, but I really felt like people were overlooking the subject matter of the post with the click-bait title, which is why I used it.

And HA! regarding referral links, I don't think there's a single one on the blog, I don't think even Discover would give me an affiliate link with my traffic! I've also been completely overwhelmed by credit card debt at one point in my life and never thought I'd get out of it, so I'd prefer not to get into that game and be a vehicle for others to fall into the same.
