Yes, and the article is significantly worse than I indicated above.
Basically, it's the first half of an anecdote -- an air marshal identifies himself and intervenes in an on-board incident -- but without the conclusion: we never even find out how things turned out!
There is, in other words, such a thing in this world as narrative construction. But evidently not in this particular corner of Boarding Area.
Who ever heard of starting a story and then not finishing it?

But I'm not sure why you say the story didn't have a conclusion. Did you click on the link to the original blog post with the whole story where the ending is included (not that it's a terribly exciting resolution, if you were expecting arrests and high drama
)? The post the other day only partially referenced back to the original story.

WTH does his tag line mean?
I can't figure out what his tag line has to do with miles and points?
Lay your lovely face against my skin?
Obviously, something must be lost in translation.

Hey, did you guys know that JetBlue is matching your Virgin America point balance today? No? Well then you are either eyeless or illiterate, as it's already been posted 10 separate times on BA today.

All kidding aside, what has Boarding Area come to?
The site now has a blog I hadn't noticed before, Jettsetting Ben. Here is the opening graf from today's post (briefly quoted for discussion and analysis purposes only):
"It’s a common myths and monks frequent flyers and business travellers, but the truth is if you include a Saturday night stay in your trip, the price you pay will be cheaper than not spending the Saturday night at your destination. . . . Business travellers who only usually travel during the week, but airlines will you see noticed that these flights aren’t as busy as they would like; hence the increase in airfares to try and mitigate a profitable service."
I truly don't know what to make of this -- again putting all kidding aside.
I guess "and monks" means "amongst"? I really don't know what "you will see noticed" is supposed to mean. Or what "mitigate a profitable service" means.
I won't comment on the rest since (for obvious reasons) I didn't read it . . . .
But again, what has Boarding Area come to?
I do want to be fair, but clearly something has gone very, very wrong.

I guess BA is focused more on quantity over quality? Hey it works for McDonald's!

That's kind of what I was thinking. At least I hope it wasn't actually typed like that or this blogger has bigger issues! Lack of proofing is a pretty common theme with many BA bloggers.

You're right that it's all about the money. So what the heck ever happened to taking pride in your profession? These people like to masquerade as regular guys and gals, but they're professional writers. They're not lifestyle mavens or other made up jobs, they're professional writers. So crack open a book on English grammar and actually do a good job with your career, or don't expect me to read your lazy tripe.

Deals We Like is back at it again sneaking in Amazon referral links:
http://dealswelike.boardingarea.com/...430.1464826533
They offer deals that they themselves were not targeted for and a majority of people aren't targeted for... then tell you to go to amazon to check to see if you are targeted (you aren't) and then a 24 hour cookie is placed on your computer so if you buy anything from Amazon they get referral $$$. They seem to pull this trick pretty often on readers.
