UNI Air has temporarily suspended Dalian Airport Operations due to "operational reasons" in the month of Oct. 2018. Pax will be reaccommodated onto other airlines or from a different city in PRC.
EVA Air has also independently confirmed to AusBT that BNE will receive the 789 next year. Current in-service date for TPE-HKG is still up in the air as the airline and the CAA work to gain aircraft certification and CAA ETOPS approval.

787 has already passed 1st certification test, which is to prove that EGAT and EGAS have equipment and the knowledge to handle the aircraft on the ground!

I bet you anything that VIE (BR61 eff 9 May/BR65 10 May) and for a limited time AMS (July & August) will see the 789: https://www.routesonline.com/news/38...as-of-08oct18/
Why VIE? All my flights on 77B are packed in every class...

Certainly looks like TPE-VIE, TPE-BKK-VIE, and TPE-BKK-AMS will switch to 789 for northern summer 2019 if they closed the PE reservation. But what doesn't make sense is how they plan to operate this schedule with only 4x 789 on top of the expected year-round service on TPE-BNE. Perhaps some of the flying will actually be done withing 78J?

Someone also said that the 787s are not necessarily replacements for the 330s.
I wonder how they determine which routes to use the 787s first. Is it based on fuel and load? Or, somehow each aircraft type has per mile numbers and they put them on routes to make the routes profitable on paper?

BR rumored to start Matsuyama, JP in 2H2019 if the A321 fleet scheduling permits, according to SVP Lee Chia Feng. The plans are still awaiting final approval from EVP of Corporate Planning and President Clay Sun.

BR has also recently put out an ad for airport operations staff in Penang. Could see a service there next year as well. If there are any route announcements for the first half of '19, it will come in the next few months.

B7's Harbin(HRB) is temporarily suspended between November and March 9, 2019.
Management seems to be feeling the pressure on these flights and have started to purge them away.
