I have flown B-16703 the kitty jet the day it started service to HKG. Since then haven't had luck to fly it again.

SFO gets no love from EVA.

If you look at where the Taiwanese population is in the US, SoCal IS where they are. So, of course, LAX gets the love At one point, EVA even operated KHH-LAX nonstop.

I am surprised they put the Kitty jet on CDG - I would have thought maybe LHR since Kitty is supposed to be British (or stay at LAX). Maybe rotation-wise, it is easier with a nonstop flight or Sanrio wanted to get into the French market more?

There are a lot of Taiwanese in NorCal too.

At least send some 77A over. Not sure why NY/LA gets 77A but not SFO. No kitty is fine, but no wifi?

Agree, but who can pass up the Hello Kitty T.P?

My guess is that the extra few seats on the 77A makes a bigger difference on JFK and LAX. There are probably some competitive reasons.

They have not announced any plans for retrofitting the 77N to be like the 77A. If you think about it, that is a significant amount of work. I would not be surprised if they keep 2 differnt types for now.

Hello Kitty Shining Star Jet is officially in the summer 2015 timetable. Kitty looks cute on the cover: http://www.evaair.com/images/zhtw/ev...tcm27-4456.pdf

Looks like this is the design...where is the Texas-Sized Hello Kitty? Of course, the stupid thing is IAH-TPE has the plane flying in and out of IAH at night so only the inauguration TPE-IAH flight is during daylight.

EVA said this is the 7th and last Kitty plane.

Dang, why's it there last if it's so successful?

What I read was that they want to keep it rare enough. Of course, I am sure cost is an issue too - that is why they stopped doing it the first time. Or, maybe to give those who refuse to fly the Kitty Jet more choices

Who would refuse to fly the Kitty Jet? There's no lack of comfort on it, if anything just more comfortable.

To my understanding I thought BR was profiting from the Kitty Duty Free Sales.
