Beach suggestions
I am flying to Milan on 25 april to 5 may. I have been to Milan a couple times already but it was the cheapest fare to europe so I'm going to fly low-cost somewhere else.
My question is will it be warm enough to goto the beaches? I checked Ryan Air's route map for milan and was thinking about Ibiza, or Palma Mallorca.
I really want to go to Gran Canaria but ryanair doesn't fly on the dates I need from Milan. I could fly Milan->Madrid->Gran Canaria but I don't really want to chance missing a connecting flight with Ryan air.
Any suggestions to other cities or low cost carriers (especially ones that fly out of MXP) would be greatly appreciated.

Vueling is now promoting their new concept of connecting flights. (They used to be point-to-point only, like Ryanair.)
Milan to Tenerife or Gran Canaria is now one of their official routes, so in case of problems you won't be stranded. (In the worst case scenario you'll be visiting Madrid or Barcelona for a day...
)
Not sure if they fly from MXP. Maybe you'll have to change airports in Milano.

You're definitely into "fringe" season for European beaches.
My recommendation to paraphrase Horace Greeley is "Go East, Young Man".
The further east you go, the warmer the Mediterranean air and water temperatures will be. Additionally, your chances to encountering spring rains will dramatically decrease.
If you have miles, use them (intra-Europe is very cheap), and get to Cyprus
The south coast of Turkey should also be warm and dry (i.e. Alanya).
The problem with LCC is they usually dont begin flying into beach destinations until mid-June.

Just an update.
I've decided that I will fly to Barcelona on Ryan Air and just travel the coast line back to milan by train.
I have already been to Nice, and Monaco. Anybody have any suggestions for some stops on my way to Milan?
Also I know that it's cheaper to buy the tickets at the station than online but I was wondering how much cheaper they usually are so I can budget my travel out.
So I think it will look like this:
25-Nashville-Milan
26-Bergamo(Milan)
27-Barcelona
28-?
29-?
30-?
1-?
2-Milan
3-Milan-Nashville
*EDITED*
I should note that I have friend in Aix-en-provence. So I'll probably do a day in Marseille. Other than that I'm open to any suggestions.

If you havent been, I would recommend Saint Tropez. Its a charming little village right on the sea. Amazing (breathtaking) people watching.
And, who knows, you may get warm enough weather for hitting Pampelonne beach. Southern France is having a warm early spring, so you may get lucky.
To get there, get off the train at Gare de Saint Raphael. There is a bus station directly behind the train station. Its about an hour bus trip along the coast to Saint Tropez.
Alternatively, theres a sea taxi from the Saint Raphael harbor to the Saint Tropez. I dont know if it runs so early in the tourist season.

They've been offering official connecting flights like this for yonks, - just only a subset of their routes. Yes that subset of routes has changed, but I wouldn't call the concept new.
Also, keep in mind, many of the Vueling flights are also available under an IB code for connections with IB (and others) off the vueling network.
