If you haven’t been, I would recommend Saint Tropez. It’s a charming little village right on the sea. Amazing (breathtaking) people watching.
And, who knows, you may get warm enough weather for hitting Pampelonne beach. Southern France is having a warm early spring, so you may get lucky.
To get there, get off the train at Gare de Saint Raphael. There is a bus station directly behind the train station. It’s about an hour bus trip along the coast to Saint Tropez.
Alternatively, there’s a sea taxi from the Saint Raphael harbor to the Saint Tropez. I don’t know if it runs so early in the tourist season.
