Mileage expiration
I recently transferred in Citi ThankYou points when there was a 25% bonus. According to the Etihad website, miles are supposed to have a 24 month expiration, however, my Etihad account shows that they will expire in 12 months. I emailed Etihad but did not get any response. Why the difference in expiration? Do transferred in miles expire differently? TIA.

I think what mike84k is trying to get at, is does it show similar to what is shown in this post from last week. In that, it says "After 31 Dec 2016". Of course, 24 months from Jan '16 is after December 2016, so it would be correct if that's the case. See further explanation in the thread.

I've got 30k of miles due to expire in March 2017.
Does this mean I need to book by March 2017 or does it mean I need to have flown by March 2017?
Regards
John
