ANA NRT-IAD-NRT First Class 96,200 Guest Miles and $230
Just for the heck of it, tried calling to see what the new ANA price NRT-SIN would be "no availability sir I'm checking all dates" - despite UA.com showing availability the entire week Y J & F... moron. Then searched for American flight to South America- "must be non stop flights sir"-

I cannot recall if you had asked for it before, but if you want the Manchester call center guy's contact info, just PM me and I will share it with you. Based on feedback from a couple of people who worked with him, he seems to know the partner system very well (and not just ANA). I am thinking if anyone can give us an update on ANA and tell us the real rules on AA redemptions, it would be him.

so was looking on ANA website for redemption availability. After alot of searching found some that seemed good. either 90k miles in business or 165k in first. These are ANA miles and not EY miles since we no longer have the redemption table. With previous table it would have been somewhere around the 120k mark in first.
I called EY to try book this as i find it rare to actually find flights available. Was happy to book into J after hearing of increase as its still not all that bad.
However EY agent tells me that there is no availability this far in advance. I mentioned to her there was redemption availability on the ANA website but she claimed EY doesnt get redemption seats until a few months away. Then she told me how many miles i would require. Just slightly north of 360k EY miles in first and around 200k in J. Does EY really think their miles are worth 2/3 times less ANA miles? They seem to give great value to AA miles for booking on EY but when it comes to using our EY miles after recent changes to both EY and partner programs miles seem to have dropped in value tremendously.

^^ I successfully booked 7 months into the future.
Their agents make up things on a whim. Where were you flying from? JFK to NRT was 45K in F one way

A few pages back geclub1 posted "NRT-SFO one way is now 33.5K Y, 60K J, 120K F. HND-LAX is the same now." So it sounds like SEA-NRT is 100k F each direction, sounds about in line with what I was thinking once some new numbers were being posted. If SEA-NRT is less around 50k RT, that will actually be a good deal, and I will jump at that... not many FF programs have 100k J class returns any more.
BTW- Didnt they move the 77W off SEA, so there is no F now out of SEA on the 787 they operate? I would have booked SEA-NRT-SEA if F had been there, instead we have to schelp it to SFO for our F awards.
Lastly, I booked 8 months in advance, so unless this restriction is new, there is no limit on booking out many months in advance with ANA awards.

Hi guys,
I read this threads some days ago and now I managed to get 77k miles on my account (by the end of Feb 2016).
I checked the miles table at the moment and FRA-NRT-FRA was 75k miles in First.
Is it still available? Or they changed the table?
If it's still available how can I check on the web whether there are still free award places?
Thank you in advance

I have SFO-NRT-SFO in F for 2 pax booked for late March under the rates in the old "intern" chart. I booked what I could find, Sunday-Saturday but had intended to tweak dates to get slightly longer overall stay as ANA possibly opened more availability. I know I technically have 1 free date change, but now that rates have shot up dramatically I am wondering if anyone thinks I could get a date change on the return and keep the old rates? Has anyone tried this? I also wonder, should I just let sleeping dogs lie and be happy with what I have, rather than tempt fate by calling?
