Reward Ticket Question.
I recently booked 2 reward tickets using my Skywards miles and while the miles were immediately deducted from my account, I have yet to receive any e-mail confirmation or e-tickets. I spoke with the Skywards service center and they said it normally takes up to a week for the tickets to be issued. Anyone else had a similar experience? Just find it a bit strange not to have so much as an itinerary at this point.
This is my first time travelling on reward tickets on EK...
Thanks in advance

Don't worry about it. Reward tickets are processed in Dubai, so it can be lengthy (which is why they have a minimum time to purchase award tickets before departure). Since these booking are not done online yet, in my experience, Skywards usually doesn't give you an itinerary until the ticket has been confirmed.
Cheers

Also...DL should have given you a PNR. Type into the DL site and it should pop up.

After the change they had to do paper tickets b/c they claimed Doha cannot be e-ticketed....but DXB definitely could be. So this begs the question...are you doing a simple JFK-DXB intin or are you transiting onward?

Glad I could help

I think the OP purchased their ticket using Skywards not Delta miles though.

Thanks for the information sadiqhassan. Indeed the tickets are Skywards award tickets not DL. Travel is not until the 3rd week in March so there is plenty of time (I hope :-)). Just got a bit worried not having a printed confirmation yet but my worries have been calmed.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
