We took the middle seats in the second row for JFK-DXB. No problem communicating in the middle seats. Most of the flights don't go out full in F so you can move to a window seat when there's something to see. The best "communicating" for a couple is done in the shower ;)

A lot of flights do go full depending on timing - Jfk is a busy one. My choice is row 2 followed by row 1 and then row 3.

I grabbed row 2 thanks a lot!

Seat to seat communication on EK is available using the integrated phone/controller set.

Row 1 and 2

Traveling as a couple of First Class, I enjoyed the middle seats in the first or second row. Good for conversation when the divider in the middle is down.

how does one raise the question with the crew about regarding a shower for two?

We always have 1K and 2K haha, avoid sitting next to someone for 14+ hours, thats my motto!!

Plus I like to look out of the window even if the curved cabin makes it difficult.

I appreciate this doesn't help you.

That's why row 2/3 a or k is better than 1 on the 380. On the 77w zero difference between 1 and 2.

You should then pick 1A/1K, or even better : 2A/2K.
"Better" because of more space, ... and more distance to walk :D:D

Currently booked on a380 JFK-MXP row 23 E and F. Cabin is pretty full, only other options would be row 24, 19, 20.

What do you all think would be the best seats? We're looking for as much quiet as possible and I'm conscious of possible noise from the bar - or have you all found that not many people use the bar on this flight?

Thanks

The noise at the rear bar depends on the flight.
If you want calm seats, take the most forward ones possible.

Just upgraded my DXB to ORD flight to first using points...so the best seat is 2A rather than 1A? Almost all seats are available, any recommendations would be appreciated!

No difference on a 77w.

Thanks! Chose 1a, this will be a first for me.

Many thanks. I figured it was flight dependent - anyone taken this route in J recently? Was the bar busy? the furthest forward seat open is row 19, which doesn't seem particularly further from the bar than being in the mini cabin at the back.

If traveling along the window seats are the best. Have flown in 1 and 2 outside no difference especially once you close the door !

Enough
