Agree. During this period EK will offer 92 F class seats a day(!) to/from LHR. EK has demonstrated that people are willing to pay for subpar products. It is not clear if they are willing to pay extra for better products - In the past they charged a premium for suites F early on in the roll-out (and those planes were sold as P/A instead of the regular F/A). I am not sure if this was successful but I wonder if they could do something similar now especially given that these flights are at desirable times.

I suppose it might depend on whether they believe some of the current destinations can afford to lose the priviledge!

In terms of 92 seats a day ... does anyone know the required daily onflow from SVO?
(92 seats at current rates or less seats but at indulgent pricing?!)

If they were to do this, they'd probably introduce a new booking code for the Game Changer suites. No upgrades or awards allowed - or if they are, double the existing rates.

Findings promptly filed in the bin of course, as we all know EK's view on miles

I see that EK is going 4x daily to Cairo, the previously 4x daily afternoon flight is now daily (EK921/EK922). It has pleasant afternoon timings, leaves DXB 12 noon arrives CAI 14:50 and leaves CAI 17:35 arrives back to DXB 22:00

BUT ... it doesn't operate on one day only: 27 OCT 2023, which is of course the day I want to use it.

Anyone know why it doesn't operate on this day only?

I was surprised that YUL got F to begin with

I guess this thread isn't for flydubai new routes and changes (maybe we should start one, as their route network is fairly dynamic and I suspect many EK flyers don't really want the clutter), but FZ is starting service to a newish airport in Cairo called Sphinx (SPX), in Giza. I had never heard of it.

It's a shame this returns to the B777 when I need to fly in June next year.

It will continue as an A380 next (northern) summer, it just hasn't been updated yet. Northern summer schedules typically don't get finalized until January of that year.

Amazing! I really hope it stays an A380.

EK336 MNL increases from four to five weekly, effective Nov 1, increases to six weekly effective Nov 20

Overall MNL will be 20 times weekly from Nov 20.

The new flights operate at a slightly different timing, leaving DXB at 1300. The return flights ex-MNL leave at 0325 arriving in DXB at 0900.

Looks like the equipment change from A380 to B777 on the JFK-MXP route is permanent...
I see B777 being used throughout the whole year in 2024 till the end of schedule.
