Thats strange. I guess the loads to IAD must really be poor. Because except for FLL all their other US destinations are going.

Is there any real credence to the rumor EK will just shut operations?

I have just watch several EK A380 fly across in front of the Marina, turn left and land at DWC. FlightRadar24 confirms DXB-DWC. Some only arrived back into DXB last night so I guess they were the easiest to move to DWC.

EK A380 parked at gate in JNB now

I am looking at an EK A380 now in JNB parked at the gate.

I think it may be a gradual move as best guess because my upcoming flights are his weekend are on 777.

31 A380s parked at DWC, with several more parked at DXB.

These numbers are expected to increase when EK cuts flights to the UK.

I know that ExpertFlyer may not be all that accurate, but currently it shows that from 25/3 there are no more LGW flights and just 4 LHR flights / day, EK 1, 3, 5 and 7. But these all still show as 388s?
I am booked on EK11 to LGW on 30/3. Although MMB seems blissfully ignorant of the change, its clearly not going to happen. Wonder if Ill be automatically moved to an LHR flight and when? Its a booking through my bank, so technically a TA booking which probably means that EK wont touch it if / when I call them. And if the booking is moved to LHR, will the CD be moved as well?

I read somewhere that the changes to UK flights would reflect on the EK website after Monday. I've got flights to / from LHR in early June and they're all still showing A380 as well.
