Staying at the Radisson Manchester Airport last few days and wondered why there was a ‘spare’ A380 parked up?
It was outside the hangars when I arrived late Friday and still here Saturday morning, there were a number of trucks fussing about till late in the evening. If it was simply short of fuel would they not simply fill her up and get to London to pick up the frustrated passengers?
Also a spare AA airbus parked up overnight, apparently the pilot was arrested for being drunk! This info from the local paper.
It’s all happening up north!
