Paradis, J Blue, and Tesseron were still on my flight to DEL so undoubtedly theyll be on the flight to NRT. That said you can quickly check on their website for your dates as well

There was no DP 2008 on a recent flight from the USA to Dubai - it had showed on the online wine list but disappeared a few days prior to departure. Faultless service on the 16 hour flight in any event.
Upcoming Vintage Collection wines apparently include:
Chateau Leoville Les Cases 1998 for Australasia until September 2019
Chateau Margaux 2004 for Europe from September 2019 to January 2020
Cos D'Estournel 2005 for Europe from January 2020 to May 2020
Mouton Roschild 2004 for Americas and UK from April 2020 to July 2020

Emirates wine list continues to blow me away, this is coming from a majority CX loyalist.
This week I was served 2004 La Mission Haut Brion ex-HKG, and ex-DXB 2001 Mouton Rothschild and 1998 Jaboulet Hermitage! Okay we aren't talking about a world famous vintage that year in Pauillac, but I cannot recall ever seeing something at the level of Mouton on a plane before....except also on EK, last year, when I was served Cheval Blanc. Lol. EK F can be such a treat to fly, since I don't fly it too often, maybe just 6-8 segments per year. I'm based in Asia.
I had a blast doing a tasting with the Mouton, and Hermitage too because why not? I own quite a bit of wine from Pauillac (but none from 2001), and am a longtime fan of Rhone, this was really fun.
For those curious the Champagnes were 2008 Dom and 2006 Dom Rose. I had a small touch of the Rose with caviar, and spent the rest of the time sipping and taking notes on the two reds ex-DXB. I didn't drink much ex-HKG.

Some lovely finds in the A J Lounge last night, the leftovers from onboard. After finishing the Penfolds asked the guy serving what else he had and got the snap of the 4 bottles. That's the selection at one of the approximately 16 bars across EK's 4 lounges accessible to J pax (A, B and C J Lounges + the C7 Emirates Lounge), so with enough time and stamina one could probably find some really nice wines. The Penfolds was my favourite of the three I tried.

CX's wine list is increasingly poor to me, heading in the same direction as the quality of their catering.

100% seconded, EK's wine list is part of what has totally won me over as an EK F fan recently, there is nothing else like it in the air (that and the new 777 suites from STN which also completely blow away everything else I've tried). I think I clearly need to spend more time dredging the A Gates J lounge though, as the main issue is trying to drink these wines in a 777 with crap humidity and poor cabin pressurisation massively comprises the flavour, of course. I tried the 2004 Haut Brion on my last flight and could tell it was something special, but would love to know what it would have tasted like on the ground. I ended up migrating to other wines on the list that seemed to work better in the air. The DP Rose seems to go very quickly on Asia flights as EK only seem to load two bottles maximum (could even be just one?). On my flight to BKK last month it was gone before I even got a glass as I opted not to drink until a little after take off.

--CX was limitting their top wine offering to routes like London, and ports like Frankfurt got the 2nd choice. Now Frankfurt has Lynch-Bages as well which means they need to rid of it as they probably get rid of F anyway. Emirates wine selection is totally crazy, nobody can match that. Even on BAs Concorde, the "wine cellar" did not reach that level.

True. Just for the wine list, I would wish for direct flights from Germany to Hong Kong

That cannot hold a candle to EK...EK has scores of thoughtful choices. Up and down the list: reds, whites, Champagnes, and dessert wines. Many of them very thoughtfully aged and from clever areas. For lack of a better word, EKs wine list is clearly "curated" by someone who loves wine and has a budget behind them. CX's simply isn't.
If I just rack the top of my head, last year I had (for crazytown wines) on EK: Cheval Blanc, vintage eludes me but I think 2003 or 1998; Dom P2 2000; Ducru Beaucaillou 1985. Cheval Blanc is obviously one of the top winemakers in the world. I hadn't tried P2 before and came away thoroughly impressed and bought a bunch myself. I own some Ducru Beaucaillou in the cellar but mostly from different vintages and hadn't drank 1985 lately (at least in a setting I can remember coherently...D)). I felt the same about the Mouton 01 and Hermitage La Chapelle 1998 I mentioned upthread It is all a pleasure. Something about being surprised and delighted on board, even though obviously I could do it cheaper myself just going to a wine store than buying an F ticket. But I am definitely a fan of EK in this department.
Oh yea hey and when you're bored just finish of with the 40 year tawny. I will not object
.(Edit later: I think if I'm being accurate, I've undersold the list... the port wine was one of those single vintage tawny ports from like the 1980s or 1970s. Not technically a 40 year tawny which is something else not bad....but lol which is likely way cheaper. If I recall my last visit to Porto, you can get the 40-50 year old single vintage tawnys for maybe 300 USD a bottle. Can't disrespect the EK wine list!)
