Refreshed A380 Experience?
Seeing it pop up on Facebook...
'Say hello to a refreshed A380 experience on board from tomorrow' (presuming 23/2)
Anyone know what they have done?*
* Paid access to the bar for economy passengers probably?!

Just saw it as well, saw they hash tagged #EmiratesA380Lounge or bar something, so maybe theyre changing the onboard bar somehow?
I was hoping they were going to announce the new F class, but I don't think that will happen until March in Berlin.

Just announced the redesigned onboard lounge.
Not significantly different... but perhaps the style is pointing towards the new F suites...? Plan to see the new F suite in Berlin.

I'm not convinced this is a good move. I tend to wander over to the lounge, and sit at the window. With the current design, people don't feel uncomfortable sitting down next to me, or vice versa, as you are not looking directly at them.
With a table design, I'd feel I was encroaching on somebody else's space if there was already one person there.
I assume the storage space behind the current seats is being removed to allow for the tables?

Well it'll be from July on the brand new 380s so chances of us experiencing one right from the off will be slim to non-existant in the short term, so I wouldn't worry about it too much yet about how you'll be sitting or not sitting.
