New subwoofers for surround sound
The sound proof curtain won't do much to stop those low frequencies!
And why so all the promotional photos show people dressed so elegantly? Every time I've been there it's been paunchy men in jeans and t-shirts and a few strays from F in PJs.
The seats don't look too bad, at least in terms of comfort. I never found the benches all that comfortable, but I agree that they may be underused because four strangers may not want to squeeze in together in something that looks like a comfy Macdonald's arrangement.

Looking at the promotional photos/vid, I can see exactly what you mean re the new window seating layout ; and would agree totally. Maybe it's been designed by a speed dating club ...??
And do we REALLY need the massive TV ....? This introduces an element of noisy city centre pub with Sky Sport blaring out rather than understated luxury. Surely we can happily survive the flight without the need for a TV screen in every single part of the aircraft .....?
More positively, the change of decor & colours does look welcome. But overall I'm not convinced that the revamp is all to the good.

Don't think the they will keep the volume that high as cabin crew are well aware of the noise from the bar disturbing the mini cabin and have heard the bartender asking people to keep it down.
I do love the new colors. Never been a fan of gold so the new chrome/silver finishes are definitely more my taste as is the new faux wood.

I too am worried about the tables discouraging people from "making friends" and feel more awkward about sitting at a table if only occupied by even one person. At least they kept one side in the open bench concept which is where I like to sit with my drink and look out the window and still have the option to strike up a conversation.
You sound exactly like me...

Problem solved - flight cancelled. Next available flight - Sunday!!!!
So, I've got the joys of Jet2 to Leeds/Bradford tomorrow, followed by bus/train/Uber home.
The upside, I'm in the landside Privium lounge at AMS... Doesn't close until 20:30, so that's a free afternoon on the razz sorted out.

Back to the topic.
+1 for disliking the MacDonald's table.
Two benches would have been better.
TV : I fancy the idea of watching a good soccer game. Nevertheless, everybody may not like it, and the mini cabin may indeed be bothered by uncontrolled MAN-U fans.
Sound proof curtain : waiting to see how it works. It's a good idea, but, I don't see pax opening/closing such curtain. It will probably remain open ...
It will be interesting to see during meal time
Faux wood : I'm not sure that real wood can be homologated on an airliner, security wise.
I'm much more eager to see the new F cabin. Will they keep the massive useless personal mini bar / folding table ?
I understand, there will be no revolution in the architecture ...

I very often enjoy watching football (aka soccer in some parts of the world) too.
But - forgetting about "uncontrolled Man U fans" for a moment - what if I, or other bar users, would prefer to watch a live tennis match which happens to be available at the same time. .....

Much better methinks to keep any live TV viewing to individual seats/suites.

As an introvert who already feels like an interloper in J due to op-up, I'd be really uncomfortable sitting in this new lounge.

But on the positive side, at least the pics of the restyled lounge suggest a bit less bling...
