I really liked these...as much or more than Godiva. I thought the hazel chocolate one was delicious!

What is the service flow on EK flights. ORD-DXB, dinner after takeoff and when is breakfast before landing 2 hours out? From my experience, EK does not do dine on demand so you're either awake for food or not. It's pretty assembly line-like versus Qatar and Etihad, but a bigger cabin.
Most interested on EK 203, the 2am departure DXB-JFK. The menu shows, light snack, breakfast and lunch. Is it, light snack right after takeoff or full breakfast? When does lunch service begin? 2 hours before landing? Don't tell me they wake up the whole cabin halfway through the flight to serve a full meal while people are trying to sleep midway on a 12 hour flight. Just curious to know what the service flow is on a 2am US-bound departure, what meals and when. Thanks! |
Hi all. I have an upcoming flight from TUN-DXB-IAD this coming saturday in C class and was wondering if I order a special meal ( seafood), will I be able to take something from the main menu ( if i dont like the special meal)? Any experiences? Thanks in advance

I had the opportunity to fly CDG-DXB in Y and DXB-LAX in J this past month. Menus and video of food in my video! Overall, I wish Emirates had dine on demand for those longer flights. It really makes a difference!

On a general note the catering on Emirates in C ad F is quite disapointing and repetative for years already. Excpetions of course apply, such as the Beverage selection and Caviar in F but otherwise quite disapointing.

Can anyone please share recent food menus (or comments therein) on the following late night (or early morning depending on your point of view!) departures?

You don't mention which cabin class you'll be in, but look in the "What's on your flight" section on the website and you can see this month's menus.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I'm wondering if the meal service in J on short/mid haul flights (E.G CAI, IST, ATH) is any different in quality from the first meal service on long haul flights, as I want to know what to expect on my upcoming flight.
