I don't drink cognac... but I've noticed that A380 flights always have a wider spirits selection than 777 flights. For example - 2 vodkas, cognacs, gins and rums versus one on the 777, even with similar departure times. Patron Cafe is also A380 only in my experience.
I'm guessing this is due to the space available in bar carts rather than anything else. None of it bothers me - I only wish they'd dump the JW Blue (over-rated and more expensive than it should be) and replace it with comparably priced single malts. |

With regards to the JW Blue - it would be nice yes, but I doubt that EK pay anything near the sticker price to Diageo for it. One has to remember that Single Malts don't have the brand and status recognition globally (and more importantly in their target markets) as much as JW Blue does. Perhaps consistent emails from regular F pax to EK may get them to budge on this eventually though! |
It's not gone! I saw a whole bottle of Paradis on 703 and 702, in F bar.

TBH I don't understand the fascination with Cognac and this Paradis. I tried it on my last flight. Call me whatever you like, it reminded me of Betadine gargle and mouthwash.

I think it's a good thing that there is a range of opinions about the Paradis: I'm especially happy there are others to, to use a loaded term here ;) subsidise my alcohol choices :D

I won't be one of those. I'm scheduled to fly on my first ever Emirates flights in December and definitely plan to make a dent in a bottle of Paradis. I'm flying DXB-SFO, so I should have a little time to make a go of it.
If yes, enjoy yourself. After a few rounds of the Paradis, don't forget to schedule a shower (assuming on 380). Then on to the next round. |

Just for clarification, you mean first F flight with EK?

Sounds good :)
You will most likely have had enough of airports & security checks after all that lot .....! Have a great trip ^ |
Any update on EK's stock of Paradis?
