The last couples of times I got an Emirates Chauffeur Drive pick up in Dubai while flying J, it was the F Merc rather than the standard J Volvo.

Coincidence/luck or is this a new Platinum benefit?

Only on pick up - I got the J car back on a recent AMM flight.

Just walk up to the F counter. They gave me a red voucher last two times.

Flying F LHR-DXB-HKG and back (not getting out at DXB). Could book car to LHR and back from LHR but it doesn't come up with any way to book HKG to Hotel and back. Am I missing something?

For eligible itineraries involving HKG, you have to contact the call center or local office to make the booking (some sort of HKG only exception)

I flew F LGW-DXB-SIN RTN and I was told LGW do not operate S Class, only E class for F pax. The car was old and stank of cigarettes.

I think we had the same driver - I would have thought that he was not longer contracted with Carey at this point given the complaints there must have been about him, but clearly not!

Yes, no S-classes at LGW unless exceptional demand means they've had to draft in drivers who usually work at LHR. Most of the E-classes they use are the latest model though.

A friend in Mauritius told me tonight that her partner had been asked if he needed an EK car from the airport on his last journey and also said a friend of his was also asked.
AFAIK EK don't provide cars in Mauritius so I rang them and they said no they don't.
I assume the EK guy was right?

My friend just asked again this morning and they said no EK cars for Mauritius yet but soon will be. Not getting my hopes up!

When putting in the address, it won't allow any symbols. So in Barcelona the address has "2-2" but it keeps giving me an error cause of the dash. So I just put "2 2" just so it'd allow it.

When I arrive in Barcelona, do I just give the driver the full address?

The chauffeur drive company will confirm the address with you on arrival before you get in the car.

Also, destination CD services are arranged by local staff so they will understand people's address inputs in the system so I wouldn't worry.

Update on BRU cars: I had a BMW 7 series for my last F flight. Driver confirmed they're now using BMW 7 and Mercedes S for first and Mercedes E for J. Mercedes Viano van for J/F when no other car is available or when travelling with lots of luggage.
