lil lame
the app is lil confusing...also it has lot of irrelevant information .. for instance it has one DOB in bold (font 28 of so).. for everyone to see? also it has your complete passport information for you to view and edit..
Also it does not show the tier miles accumulated... (not in my case)
if once clicks on "manage booking" - it does not showa seat map yet....
i am sure this is work in progress but EK should have done a better job my benchmarking themselves with other airlines apps to see how better they can serve the purpose...
this seems more like a lipstick treatment.. one would be better off by logging into Emirates.com

Doesn't have an iOS7-style Flat UI :/ Delta and American's apps have done this very well.
I'm guessing the iPhone version will support Passbook for boarding passes.

I actually think the Emirates website works very well on the iPad (much better than all others I use), and there's far less click/navigation to do simple tasks such as change seats or check for upgrades than on the App.
I'm not sure the right hand corner button (...) is self explanatory enough to realize you need to press this to manage a booking.
lazyboy - Agree it is confusing but you're accumulated tier points are under the 'tier calendar'.
The tier miles at the top is your current year, but again confusing as this isn't actually the amount of tier miles you have as it's only since the start of your Skywards year (linked to your birthday) and includes future bookings, it's more of a 'what status will I achieve this skywards year, based on future bookings so far'.
I have a trip showing twice under two different booking references which is interesting. Both show PVG>DXB>LHR>DXB>PVG one is called a Dubai Trip and the other a London Trip?
On a positive the 'Explore' function is nice, especially for new customers wanting to know what to expect when flying on Emirates. It's difficult to understand the product you'll get on many other airlines, I guess based on their inconsistency. I mainly fly 3 class 773 and A380 routes, so I pretty much know what I'm getting in either J or F on Emirates.

there is a seat map. You have to go to 'My Trips', choose the flight, then click the three dots on the top right and select 'Select Seats'. Its a rudimentary seatmap though - not as good as the one on the website online.

Received a notification day before yesterday saying "3 hours left to book your chaffeur service for the flight LHR-DXB" and then yesterday "3 hours left to book your chaffeur service for the flight DXB-MEL".
I have not such flights in my booking, why am I getting these notifications?

I am not able to use the app anymore. When I start the app it come a warning saying"you have to use the last version of the app".
But on the store there are no updates and furthermore I cannot find it anymore on the store.
Does someone have the same problem?

Try deleting the app and downloading again from the app store. The new version has bugs so they are probably fixing them.

+1 mine does the same thing. Nothing seems to fix it. I got it to sign in once after i cancelled the app and restarted my iPad. But now it just keeps giving me the same warning.
