Now if only they'd bring back the Emirates Traveldesk. I was hoping it would be brought back with the launch of the app.

Very impressive - like the features. Looks like they've spent a decent amount of time on it. I remember seeing a post about a year ago where they were inviting certain Skywards members to their London office for feedback on a mobile application - perhaps this is what materialised.

Few people asking Emirates on Twitter in relation to iPhone and Android apps and Emirates have responded by saying 'coming soon, in development'.

Fun times!

edit: Now only if they had an option for Gold / Plat card holders on the App in which notifications could pop up - like flight / seat availability' and as when they become available :D

Been using it for a couple of weeks now, I like it but you can't upgrade on it unfortunately !

what about andriod

Is it just me? I can't find it on the App Store (French one) and when I click on the link from the Emirates website there is just a white box appearing in the App Store....

Same here (German store). Looks like we still have to wait.

I have been able to download it now, creating a UAE Apple ID :)
You can upgrade with miles on the App.
You need to go to "My trips", manage your booking, then on the right top "..." -> manage booking -> "upgrade with miles".
On one of the flights where I am waitlisted for an upgrade to business I can only see the business seat map, but I am confirmed in economy and on the normal website I can only see the economy seat map. I cannot unfortunately choose a seat in business ;)

I have exactly the same, shows the j map on the app. I'm waitlisted for Mondays ek18.

Let us know if you get the J seat on Monday, hope it is a good indication. I am also waitlisted for the return flight, on which I only see economy seatmap on the app. Figure it out...
