Not sure if IOS 8 has broken the app but it certainly has not been displaying correctly on my iPad since the upgrade. To follow on from m3red on my machine its display is now deranged!

IOS8 has certainly done something, my app is only showing half of the content when the iPad is in landscape view, the other half is just a black block, although when switched to portrait the app shows correctly.

Well.. wish I came cross this topic before upgrading to ios8.. Emirates app is not displaying correctly at all :(
Can't wait until the new app is out.. Or at least an update to fix what Apple ruined ;)

Update released 23 September has corrected the display issues.

For those of you waiting for an iPhone version, it's coming. It's internally (staff) already available and was uploaded on the 3rd of November. It's looking good but still beta.

The latest release (10 Nov 2014) added language support for French and German so hopefully it will in your App Store soon.

There was an update yesterday and one of the 'features' was that it will tell you when you have enough tier miles for an upgrade.

I thought you could use any skywards miles, not tier - have I missed something changing?

Calculating when you have enough Skywards miles to reach the next tier level (therefore upgrade from Silver to Gold etc etc).

Nope Travelsig.
They misstated it:
- New notifications: Receive a notification when you have enough tier miles to upgrade your seat
They meant miles.

You are right.

In general I do like the App and the ability to book car service via the app which is a convenient service.
