And it looks like murtaza’s account is gone. What a shame. Seemed well-informed and the sheet was very useful.

Isn’t there another platform where that information could be shared? I thought it was fantastic. And I applaud murtaza for maintaining (and expanding) it so conscientiously!

My IT person is worryingly giddy about a solution, if DMCA is the problem. If Murtaza comes back or sees this, please send me a private message.

I'm still here, just under a different name that the FT admins were kind enough to change for me.

Hi folks,

as I was a real fan of Murtaza's Fleet Guide, I decided to create a Google Sheet by myself.
I know it is not as comprehensive as the one from Murtaza. However I hope you like the Google sheet for now:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

I try to improve it from time to time and keep it updated. Nevertheless, I would be delighted if Murtaza would continue his Fleet Guide and possibly offer it on another platform.

A6-EBQ hasn’t flown since March 25th. Since it’s a 36NER frame (GECAS owned), I wonder if it’s undergoing end of lease maintenance?

It is end of lease. The aircraft will be returned to lessor soon.

It is a shame the Google sheet is gone. This gave useful information on what all products are on each type helping us for what to anticipate.

A6-EPI & EPU are back in service. A6-EPD is in CAN (Maintenance perhaps?), and A6-EPJ may be the next non-CRC plane next for a PEY retrofit.

It’s interesting the A380’s EO* that are fitted with PEY are still maintaining a generation older ice. So on ULR routes it may be a gamble if flying Y.

But what is going to happen to the 2-class 777’s? Will they stay 2-class or also have PEY? Like EPE, G, Q, R, T?

Like many hundreds of other users who have enjoyed and learnt from the fleet guide constantly and meticulously updated by FoxCL9 / Murtaza I will greatly miss this valuable resource. I struggle to understand why it has breached DCMA guidelines as all the information was in the public domain already?

Thank you flo388 for your contribution, I hope that it will flourish in the coming months and I have already bookmarked it in my browser.

On Sat 3rd May EK28 1435 Glasgow to Dubai was cancelled, should have been operated by A6-EDF which worked the inward EK27.
A6-EDF still on the ground with no scheduled dep as yet.
Any ideas what the issue may have been ???

IIRC, a tech issue on EDF was also the cause of EK30 LHR-DXB being cancelled a week or two ago. It then ferried to Dubai the following day. Can’t check its history beyond 7 days as I don’t have a paid subscription to FR24 but I’m sure someone else could have a look.

I noted some gaps in its flight history indicating possible problems.
Just getting ready to dep back to Dubai as UAE2566.

Noticed A6-EDZ, EEA, EEB and EEC have all been stopped at DXB for over a month now. Any idea what the story is with these frames?

Also, it appears Google Maps have got a new aerial image over Dubai World Central and the only A380's left there now are the six in storage (EDI, EDJ, EDL, EDP, EDR, EDT) with a seventh being scrapped. Can't tell which one it is, but it's one of EDC or EDE according to planespotters

Thanks for that.
I read on another forum a pax onboard reported EK27 had a go around on the approach to Glasgow.
Flight crew reported it was due to a landing gear issue which ultimately could not be resolved on the ground hence EK28 cancelled.

A6-EEC is in CAN for maintenance.
